Learning Challenge: Happiness Jar (Part 2)
Happiness Jar
Two weeks ago, I decided to take up the happiness jar challenge. For this challenge I needed to write down at least one thing that made me happy that day, everyday. Now because we were on spring break, I decided to just do it for two weeks and report back. Initially I thought this challenge might be a chore, just because I am not one to journal or keep a diary. This challenge really wasn't hard to keep up with at all. I honestly didn't see a huge change in my outlook on life and I don't think I will be continuing with the challenge. However, I did feel just a little bit better about my day at the end of the day. On my not so great days, I was able to see just a small thing that made me happy which means it couldn't have been that bad of a day. That is what I think will stick with my now that I have concluded the experiment. I don't think I'll make it a habit to physically write things down but I think when I am feeling any negative energy towards the day I will remember this challenge.
I didn't physically keep a jar but I would suggest it to anybody who likes to keep a journal or be crafty from time to time.
