Tech Tip: Canvas Calendar


I am a firm believer in calendars and planners. I use these two things to stay on top of my busy schedule. I use mostly hard copy calendars like a big one on my wall and an agenda calendar. However, I have tried to start keeping my phone calendar up to date as well for quick references when I am away from my hard copy calendars. I think I am going to try to start to sync my canvas calendar with my phone. It would make assignment due dates even more clear and accessible.

For time management in this class, I have been heaving up on Tuesday/Wednesdays and making Sundays my project and extra credit days.

    Hey, Maryellen!

    I completely agree with you -- ever since I started using a planner, my school experience has been WAY more organized. No more waking up in a cold sweat, panicked that I've missed some 200 point assignment that just slipped by mind. I've never thought about getting my planner on my phone though, that's a great idea. I'll have to give it a try!

Week 2 Story: Three Roses

Three Roses There once was a caring mother with three daughters. The family was running low on supplies so the mother planned a trip to the market. Before she left the mother asked her daughters what they wanted from the market. The two eldest girls supplied a long list of wants. The youngest, however, just wanted three Roses. The family lived deep in the woods so the trip would take two days time. After collecting all the supplies that were needed the mother started to head back home.
